Niagara Falls Being Shut Off In 1969

The Daily Mail has posted an astonishing set of photos taken in the summer of 1969 that shows Niagara Falls (from the US side) completely dry due to testing and work being done by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (they erected a dam and diverted water flow elsewhere). It was the first and only time the water at the has ever come to a stop and the photos, which were found by Russ Glasson, are just something to look at.
