On my way to Ottawa this past weekend, I really gave these guys a good listen, taking a liking to their album entitled, Tourist History. Even the people in the car with me were digging this band. If you’re down for some high-energy rock from an Irish elctro-rock band, these guys won’t dissapoint. Click HERE to give their album a try.


Nike has really upped their video game, they’ve been making some fantastic commercials. This specific one was made by Wieden + Kennedy Portland and features a number of prominent Nike-sponsored athletes in a sort of layered video time-lapse.

Just the other day, Angels & Airwaves released their 3rd studio album entitled LOVE for free download on their website due to what they see as “corporate underwriting“. You don’t have to fill out any form or sign up for any email list. All you need to do is hit the download link and enjoy an entire album’s worth of new music from Tom DeLonge and friends.

All Eyes has a set of never-before-seen photos from September 11, 2001 that ABC News obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request. The photos are taken by NYPD Detective Greg Semendinger from the New York City Aviation Unit and show the precise moments directly before and after the collapse of the towers.

The views shown are unique because they offer a glimpse of the chaos from the air rather than from the ground. Click the images below to cycle through.

KR3W – Up and Coming 2010

KR3W has just been killing – I’m looking really forward to seeing more of their 2010 line. They have even teamed up with Erik Ellington (owns SUPRA) and The Berrics to drop The Ellington X Berrics Collaboration. This is a must have limited edition collection! They are definitely one of the higher-end skate brands, but this is something i definitely wasn’t expecting. I absolutely love the classier look they’re going for.
